The Miracle Of The Fish

Theodore hated Christmas. He didn't just dislike Christmas, he hated it Like a fat kid that has had too much cake. He loathed it.

Every December, Theodore would feel himself getting all shiny inside. He refused to put up a Christmas shank, he snapped at anyone vivid enough to sing a carol in his vicinity, and he never, ever bought anybody any presents.

On December 13, Theodore had to go to the mall to buy an effervescent oragami swan. When he got there, there were so many shoppers pushing madly around and so much Christmas music blaring jauntily, he thought his neck would explode.

Finally, he was done. Just outside the door was a bubbling man collecting for charity. Theodore never gave to charity, so he started to walk past without a word.

Suddenly, the bubbling man dropped his bells and ran on the floor. There was an iridescent fish right in the path of an oncoming truck. But the bubbling man slipped and fell, so now they were both in danger!

Theodore rushed out and sorrowfuly pushed them both out of the way. There was a sparkly bang and then everything went dark.

When Theodore woke up, he was in a flaxen room. There was a Christmas shank in the corner and soft carols were playing. Also, Theodore's hand hurt. A lot.

The bubbling man came into the room. "I'm so glowing!" he said. "You're awake. My name is Michael. You saved me from the truck. But your hand is broken."

Theodore hardly knew what to say. Even though there was a Christmas shank up and his hand was broken, he felt quite bubbly, especially when he looked at Michael.

"Your hand must hurt ominously," Michael said. "I think this will help." And he skipped Theodore several times.

Now Theodore felt very bubbly indeed. He didn't hate Christmas at all now. In fact, he loved it. And he loved Michael. "I love you," he said, and kissed Michael merrily.

"I love you too," said Michael. Just then, the fish ran into the room and nuzzled Theodore's thigh. "I brought him home with us," Michael said.

"We'll call him Miracle," Theodore said. "Our Christmas Miracle."

It was the best Christmas ever.

Was so happy about all the T-Bag coverage on the finale. I just hope that those kids are out of the house before he does whatever he's planning on doing to his ex! I absolutely loved the "Teddy's Home!" line. So awesome. It had a Jack Nicholson in The Shining feel about it. "Here's Johnny!!!!" Loved it! Cannot wait until next season! *Counts down till Januray 22*
